Had to go for a course called E-Records, a new way to input results and stuff into the computer system to do away with the obsolete Red Books. Anyway, it was rather redundant as it was easy to fumble out by ourselves, so ... nvm
Went with my boss to Ang's Grandpa's wake. He passed away after being diagnosed with lung cancer 3 years ago. Everyone in the family looked peaceful, as if they sort of expected it. It was a Taoist setup, something that I'm not used to. Before I knew it, we were chatting with Ang for 2 hours.
Drank with Melvin in the evening after dinner. Melvin is a German Chinese, with both parents migrated to Germany before his birth and that he's here for a 2-years attachment. We drank a little, chatting and I'm thankful for a good time, drinking and all. He is also tri-lingual: German, English and Chinese, in the order of proficiency, reminding me that being tri-lingual is quite a norm. Anyway, I thought that it would be better to specialise in 2 languages, rather than to indulge myself in more languages, maintaining the low level for the 3 or 4, thus Jack of all trades, but master of none.
