Blue Moo

Was helping out at Blue Moo this evening (see link under Favourite Haunt) because Budok Pantai was performing. I'll leave the description of the group to the website and well, since I know 2 members from church and that 'lao ban niang' is my friend. I made my Blue Moo debut and was pleasantly surprised to find a fullhouse of about 200 guests

Arrived at around 6 after my driving and helped in the setting up. After which, I was issuing drinks to the guests and actually met Boon Howe, my Commando friend in CTC last year. Talk about small world and well, Singapore is even a smaller place, we're bound to meet people we know.

Then, the performance began, with humorous exchanges between the members and songs and a cappella, basically anything that just tickles you. Ever wonder why Men have nipples (lol), or how our country got the rights to Pedra Branca, everything was talked about.

It was my first encounter to the group though I knew of its existence long ago. I was away for a few years and then army just didn't let me go home that early on Fridays. Anyway, Blue Moo Rocks!

Also met wonderful people in Pram (ultra-marathoner), Stanley (triathelete), Shing (lao ban) as co-workers. Really enjoyed my time there. Helped to get everything back in place before sharing a cab home with Stanley and Pei and met with a minor accident when the taxi collided with the traffic light as the driver dozed off.

Fortunately, I had only a 'slight' knock on my knee (nothing serious) and praying hard now that the driver returned home safely
