Memories

I have poor memories, really poor. I tend to forget the names of people, the bad times and sometimes, even the good times.

Went back to camp for the first time in over 3 weeks for my dental appointment. Didn't do much except that the dentist had booked me an appointment at the Alexandra. Well, everyone is saying that AH is bad, and perhaps that's why an appointment can be made so quickly for me over there.

Spent another hour clearing emails and meeting my guys and yeah, seeing new faces, well, camp is a place where no one is important. People are posted in and out so often that there is nothing emotional. I wasn't surprised that the place looked the same, felt the same and behaved the same and the warmest welcome I received was from the fellow guys who'll not be wearing green within the next 12 months.

I'll miss them. I joked that I wouldn't mind extending for 12 months if they'll top up my allowance to what I'm about to receive. Hope they'll have someone who'll look after them at least as much as I did but with that I'd be forgotten sooner rather than later.

Going for cell later in the evening. There another chance to help out tomorrow but I have my reservations. I'm sure it'll be fun but after spending Monday, Tuesday, could have been Wednesday since Heng Kwai has been inviting me for basketball, Thursday, ... I can't imagine myself heading to the same place everyday (no offence but it feels funny to me) and I'd probably pass
