Been home for less than 8 hours for the past 3 days
Was helping out in translation for Regina who wished to form a band to perform in YWAM cafe in Tokyo. She found a vocalist ダン and I was there as a translator (everyone who knows me well enough would know that I'm tone-deaf and that my vocal range is as narrow as the width of a chopstick)
Anyway, I took it up because I saw it as giving my first fruit back to God. I haven't had a chance to contribute and I'm glad I could help.
But then again, being a translator isn't easy. Not because of the language barrier but because it gets frustrating when people don't listen. Yeah, why is there a need for a translator when people are so pre-occupied that I couldn't bring my point across. Glad that it didn't happen all the time though.
At least not as bad as my graduation: My Aunt kept complaining about being hungry and Mum helped in whining while My Godma wanted me to take more pictures; and me? I just wanted to them to go for food while I would try to find my friends and take pictures in gowns. In the end, we left for the restaurant earlier than I had wished, and it is one of my regrets.
