Of the two cubicles for showers, one was occupied. I faced away and began taking off my top. It was when the door of the first cubicle was opened (I didn't even bother who came out) but I heard 'eh, Brian' ... I turned and I saw my CEO coming out, with just a towel wrapping round his trunk
'Oh, Hi, Francis ...' Then a moment of silence ...

The Kite Runner
While the setting was Afghanistan, it was more of a story of friendship and atonement. Beautifully shot and heartwarming to see Amir Khan overcoming his fear to stand up for his Hazara friend's own flesh and blood; a shame that he could not stand up for his friend years back.

Stop-Loss
I have always believed that it's better to die in a battle than to return alive and face the pressure of readjustment. Stop-loss, in the United States military, is the involuntary extension of a service member's active duty service under the enlistment contract in order to retain them beyond their initial end of term of service (ETS) date. (Wikipedia)
The movie talked about the struggle of a well decorated Sergeant King who was stop-lossed and was made to return to Iraq. I didn't like the ending though, it seems to portray 'Guilt' as the driving force behind one's willingness to step up and to answer the call when it is against one's beliefs.

District 9
Afian had mentioned it was a good movie. There's just a lot of blood, but well, it was also comical. Especially seeing the bodies explode in a split-second. Guess I should have watched Gamer which looked so much cooler in the trailer.
