Saturday: Woke up at 5.45am (I know that I'm not the one getting married), bathed and made my way to the groom's house in Simei by 7.30. Left for the bride's home and was made to participate at the 罰ゲーム at the gatecrashing. Well, since the photo montage turned out rather well, I'd say it had been fun
Sunday: Running around the ballroom at Goodwood Park Hotel, greeting people and all, it suddenly felt like I was marrying off my brother or sister. I guess it was fun because I was given the chance to be involved in some way. I enjoyed it though it was tiring and I must brag a little that the brothers and sisters, the whole event, ZS' elder sisters and the couple made a perfect ceremony over the 2 days. Did my first yam-seng duty and amazingly I still haven't tasted alcohol though I had a glass of champagne in my hand.
Wish I have the pictures, perhaps I can upload on another day.
Just a random one, I wonder if I can keep my hair till after my japan trip, will PS/CEO make any comment on its length? Hmm... anyway, I'm on the brink of bankruptcy, hope I don't have to sell anything till I really feel like it.
Movies
Fast & Furious - Tokyo Drift
A typical guy movie, got me thinking too when I met Brother #1 Shihao on Saturday. An NTU professor who drives a Honda Integra Type R. Is it that important for a guy to have a flashy car? Anyway, what I got from the movie is that drifting appears to be more like applying a formula (coming an a certain angle and at a certain speed, lock the rear tyres and that's it). It's not cool seeing a geek solving mathematics formulae, is it? My verdict: Drift = not cool
Keith
A high school student Keith is terminally ill, he likes a girl in class and chose her as his lab partner (how he manages it, we don't know). It could be due to his illness or inferiority complex, he behaves differently from the rest and is definitely not 'in'. Still, he managed to captivate his dream girl but the relationship was never smooth or romantic.
I don't know what to make of it, I would recommend it unless someone has lots of time to waste.
