It was fun talking about old war stories, all the boo-boos that we made, watching the old war movies starring us and feeling sad that we were so much slower than the heroes in the war movies. My best memory was still the commanders' training, a 2D1N excursion whereby the men were given a day off while the commanders went out for an exercise.
It was fun because everyone knew what to do and there was the minimum level of enthusiasm. Not to mention that robert was made to dig a shellscrape for the first time in don't know how lone. There was added memories because I thought I suffered the most (by my definition), handling the role of 2ic in occupation and then switching to PC-runner with the 4kg cellphone of the 1920s.
Hearing the heroics of A○EC, how I wished I was part of it, and I'm pretty sure the few who sat by the listen felt the same way.
