Kungfu Panda

Watched it today and found it amazingly laughable. Initially thought that it was for kids but since I can only choose between Sex and the City and Kungfu Panda, I chose the one which requires less brain. Perhaps I've made a right choice because I had an enjoyable 80minutes, the only set back was that the kids who watched simply lost their interest after 30minutes and began whining to the mums, making me wonder how I should deal with it as a parent.

What went through my mine the most was actually the time to buy the tickets. In Japanese, Panda is pronounced as Par-n-Da whereas in English, it is Pen-Da. According to the spelling of the word, it is more logical to pronounce it the Japanese way. If this is not culture shock, what is =P

Well, I just wish to travel a little before I start work proper but then again, the money in my account has to last me till my first paycheck which should come in mid-September. Thanks to my 'Mum' in Japan, yeah, I shouldn't restrict my options to just Tokyo to visit people when there are so many places for me to explore. Money and finding someone to go with is the issue, I am not the kind who likes to travel alone.

Since my ankle wasn't hurting anymore, I did my first run since the Sundown Marathon. Invited Taiyao who stays in Yishun to run together since we are both running in AHM. Just 10km and I was feeling uncomfortable, must be the prawn mee I had in the afternoon. Guess I'll be the favourite patron to the toilet this evening. Sigh*

It also seems like the specs are clearing their leaves too. Which is good news. But wonder how they're coping with the non-activities
