Rest

Was helping out in the games for CAC Youth Camp yesterday. It got a little cloudy during the set up and as we prayed individually for fine weather, or literally asking for more sun, the prayer was more than answered as we had scorching heat for the next 5 hours.

At first glance, these were really kids. It was a camp for those between 13 and 23 and I didn't feel so old until I looked at them =P Not that they were more energetic (in fact many were allergic to the sun) but they all looked so kiddy lol

Had the most fun over the short but exciting water game over the finale and yeah, guess I had a rather meaningful day.

As for today, I went to the PC Show in Suntec with Ben, Jason, Jo K and Keith. Didn't have a wishlist before I went but ended up buying a portable harddisk at $120 for 250GB. Yeah, with my ever increasing 17GB of comics, my 80GB harddisk is getting filled up slowly but steadily. That aside, I was impressed by the number of people going there, it seemed like the PC Show was the highlight for the entire nation this week. It would never have happened in Japan because it is a PC Show everyday in Akihabara and that in the advancement in Tokyo and the popularity for Optics Fibre to bring internet to homes, the population in general isn't as tech-savvy as Singapore.

Well done, geeks =)
