Playing Punk

Haha, the boss of the good friend in-charge of my duty is actually threatening not to let me off unless I clear the remaining 8 (What 8, it should be 7, please count properly cos I just know how disappointing the system is). How cool. Talked to him about it before that firstly, it wasn't entirely my fault but I am the only one getting the blame, and secondly, they have 21 guys (not including me) to share 30 days worth of duties so why bother me. Not that I have been running away, but my boss made me go for the 2 weeks' training so I couldn't clear more. And when the training ended on a Friday, I actually came back on the Saturday to clear my 7th (yeah, so it's 7 more, not 8). Well, guess some people wouldn't look at the effort and just want things easy for themselves.

I was told that it is all about discipline. But I am rather sure that I have much more discipline than many others.

At least I don't grumble when our good friend come up with the duty forecast. Instead of bending him, I make the effort to bend my plans to fit it, changing only when I am out for training.

I can read through the reports and pick out mistakes and I'm the one who fix it all up most of the time. Say that I'm the most experienced but then again, lack of experience isn't a reason enough to be exempted from punishment in the system.

At least I am not late for what-so-ever in the morning, being the one who wakes others instead of having me to stand-in or cover up their absence. Was it because they had a bit too much of a drink the night before?

At least I make sure that everything is running smoothly before I relinquish my duties to go back, unlike some highly paid ones who were stopped at the gate because our place isn't cleared for anyone to go home lol

But apparently, people have their own agenda.

There are some who simply cannot stand the fact that others are resting when they're working.

Yet not realising that they made a choice while mine was mandatory.

Anyway, I'll go back to serve my remaining 7 in July. Feeling quite bored anyway, and don't really have enough money to tide me over haha. Who knows, if I save enough during that 14 days (alternate days for duty will limit my spending for 2 weeks) I may be able to go overseas afterall. So, I'll serve it with an open heart. Preparing movies on my i-touch to kill time.

Alright, enough of whining, need to go out soon to get tix for The Incredible Hulk. Hail Joefrey, you'll be remembered.
