The day started off weird when Q○ took over duty from me late, meaning that I left camp only at 10. Was wondering if I should take a cab home since I was meeting Merv at 1pm but then, I don't really have the money to splurge so I waited for my Bus 29 religiously with my trusty Ipod. Somehow Bus 29 takes over 20 minutes to move from Tampines to Camp while 969 takes about 25 minutes to travel from Tampines to Khatib. Weird.
Had a BBQ at Chor Ing's house and had the chance to play tennis there, my first in 7+ months and yeah, I'm not good at it lol. In computer games, we can form a group consisting of non-pros and we can enjoy the game but in tennis, it isn't much fun hitting the net or controlling all the shots for fear that it may fly out. So I'll need to go for tennis class sooner or later, getting a coach who'll tell me the ways to improve my hitting posture and my form. Professional players looks good because they do not have any unnecessary movements.
BBQ was short and sweet. Short because I was full within the first 30min. Sweet because the food tasted wonderful. Jason was great at preparing the prawns and before we knew it, it was already 9pm. I couldn't tahan after my duty yesterday and came back first.
Am thinking of flying off to Hong Kong next weekend, for a few days. Just checked Cathay's tickets and though it is still affordable, I need to list the things I need to buy with the money in my account: 2 pairs of leather shoes, pants, my running shoes, ...... (sigh*)
