Catch-Up-On-Work Day

Haven't been updating here because I had an unbelievable week. Either I'm working slow or the load is just too much, before I knew it, it was already 6pm for all the days. Meeting slides were prepared 3 hours in advance and it's not hard to imagine typos being projected onto a large screen (haiz)

Evenings had been good (till Thursday that is), signed up for the SBS class and found myself doing homework upon reaching home at 10-plus. My Mum must have been so impressed to see me hitting the books rather than mindless farming games but I was burnt-out come Thursday - I mean, learning and using a new technique was still alright but when we began to study a concept (activities that require more brains), my mind experienced an auto-shut-down (haiz)

Friday was no better, the day started off with a morning inter-Ministry meeting which I had no bandwidth to look at until 30min before the meeting. I couldn't write the minutes because my mind was numb and so I sent out emails after emails in the afternoon (for Japan, for Israel, for Russia, for EAPSI, for the spreadsheet) and I literally felt the significance of the wise-saying: You Reap What You Sow because I left for a coffee break and soon found my inbox filled to the brim with email replies (you sow emails, you get more emails lol)

Saturday is supposed to be a rest day/catch-up-on-work day. My parents were off to Vietnam and I felt a bit bad that I didn't see them off this morning (by the time I woke up, they were already gone). Twisting and turning to get up at 11+, bathed my emo dog (by myself!!!), ordered pizza, sent out 4 emails (which took me an hour) and here I am, again with a frozen brain, still saddled with 1 set of minutes and wondering if I really want to go out this evening =)
