Blessings

I believe I had max-ed out my 168hr over the last week, and at times, it's frustrating not being able to get more support. It wasn't easy, juggling office work, alpha, alpha weekend away, kairos, domestic duties, boyfriend duties (albeit done joyfully), cell, supporting Man U in their win over Chelsea in Champions League, not to mention the anticipation of mobilisation...

But I have many things to be thankful for as well. For one, the alpha weekend away was a humbling experience. I saw first hand, how Pentecost would have looked like with many receiving the holy spirit and were "slain". And more significantly, the instruments whom God had used, they were simple uncles and aunties, and many would be grouped as faithful followers instead of leaders of the church.

I had always appreciated knowledge and although I do not look down on others who are simple in faith, I would prefer to seek deeper. And so, it was a tremendous experience to see this group of people, being used as the channels to release the holy spirit. That God can use their simple faith and it is such simplicity that made them a lot more approachable towards new believers.

The weekend away also gave me time to explain Christian beliefs to others and I gave thanks for the experience. Though I'm extremely extremely tired, it was worth every effort.
