It was an amazing 2012:
- led a group by myself at Alpha
- learnt much at Back-to-Jesus classes
- did our wedding preparations
- we got a house
- we got married
- had a long holiday in US
- went through S's operation and recovery
I am learning to keep a journal, a record of God's words to me, or simply my reflections as a way to track my own growth and development. Also to hold onto God's promises and as a record on how things had come forth.
Although much had taken place in the last year, here I am, still at NRF. It's interesting how tired and bored I am.
I am thankful that I am more ready to move on than 1+ year ago. In fact, the revelation from Oct 2011 about proving my worth doing God's purpose (Philippians 2:22 - But you know that Timothy has proved himself, because as a son with his father he has served me in the work of the gospel.) had encouraged me which I look forward to it being reflected in my current job hunting process. I had a favourable response from IDA this week, somewhat unexpected because they had taken some time. I do not think I want to take it up further because it is going to be the same generalist kind of work and I see myself pursuing something different. Even judging from time and space, it makes a lot more sense to stay till March when I find out my next pay increment. In any case, I am making progress, taking a photo, decorating my resume, sending them out when I felt the urgency to do so.
Glad that I know my presence in office is helping someone :)
